Every 3 years, in August, Barlovento, in the North of the island, becomes the ideal setting for a fight between Moors and Christians, showing the Battle of Lepanto. This event is part of the celebrations in honour of Nuestra Señora del Rosario and it has been declared as a Cultural Asset, category: local.
