The only museum dedicated exclusively to bananas in all Europe is housed in an old, two-storey Canarian house. On the top floor there are various information panels about the history of banana growing, its impact on society, and the biology and export of bananas. The ground floor contains a meeting room and a lobby dedicated to the exhibition of leaflets. There is also a kitchen which is expected to produce traditional local products in the near future: banana liqueur or a sweet drink called mistela.
