maroparque

Maroparque is situated in the municipality of Brena Alta, specifically on the west of the “El Galeon” ravine. It’s a habitat for over 300 species of exotic animals, some of them endangered, spread over 7,000 square meters. The park is surrounded by lush vegetation, mostly native species. A wide variety of animals find refuge in this natural landscape: exotic species such as crocodiles, snakes, turtles, alligators, iguanas, monkeys, deer, porcupines, kangaroos, fish from La Palma … and birds of prey, plus parrots, ostriches, cranes, toucans, etc.

This fantastic natural environment and rural landscape is not to be missed. It has magnificent views of the sea and mountains, and a panoramic view of Santa Cruz de La Palma. Here you can enjoy nature immersed in a relaxing and peaceful atmosphere.
