The Interpretation Centre of the Marine Reserve of La Palma is housed in the old lighthouse at Fuencaliente. It’s aimed at sharing knowledge of the marine environment and fisheries, through the description of the problems to be solved by measures for sustainable fisheries. The exhibition investigates the current status of the seabed, the effect of human intervention, and the development of underwater life in the reserve, plus the importance of the work of marine reserves in promoting the recovery of marine ecosystems and fisheries.
